I originated from Germany and qualified as a solicitor here in 2020 after a complete career change in 2016. My previous career was in telecommunications where I successfully managed a customer service team for many years. This is where I developed my commitment to providing a high quality service to clients.
In 2011 I had a baby and started looking at local universities as I had always wanted to learn a profession. I had never considered law as I did not think I had the brains for it! As it happened law was the only course that was part time and that would work around my family commitments, so I enrolled and as they say the rest is history.
I did find it challenging to begin with but found I loved law and the whole experience. I made great friends, learnt so much and got a first-class degree.
I am now able to help clients who want to purchase a new build property, a share of the freehold property they currently lease, take on a new lease or extend a lease.
I can also offer Independent Legal Advice or assist clients who have been offered settlement agreements by their employer.
My desire has always been to look after clients well, so I am happy that it is also part of Labrums' reason for being.
I am also a huge animal lover having too many dogs and cats and I also own a horse. Most of my spare time is spent outside in the fresh air training and spending time with my young horse. Watching her progress is very rewarding and gives me the time I need to recharge.
