Luis Buxton

I am a Solicitor in the Private Client and Spanish Law departments at Labrums Solicitors, advising clients on a broad range of English and cross-border private client matters.

I qualified as a Solicitor of England & Wales in 2024 and, since beginning my legal career in 2021, I have specialised in English and Spanish private client law. At Labrums, I advise clients on succession planning, wills, probate, estate administration and cross-border estates, with a particular focus on matters involving England and Spain. I also assist clients with Spanish conveyancing, Spanish visas and citizenship applications, as well as the administration of cross-border estates. I particularly enjoy helping clients navigate complex legal issues by providing clear, practical advice tailored to their individual circumstances.

Although I grew up in the UK, I hold Spanish citizenship, giving me a strong personal connection to Spain and its legal system. After graduating from Durham University in 2019 with a degree in Modern Languages (Spanish and French), I completed the Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) and Legal Practice Course (LPC) at BPP University Law School before qualifying as a Solicitor.

Outside of work, I enjoy following the trials and tribulations of Stoke City FC, playing tennis and padel with friends, and exploring Spain whenever I have the chance.
